Today I am here to give you information about how we can earn money from WhatsApp. I know all of you are using WhatsApp and some and some of you also know that we can earn money from WhatsApp as well. But many of you do not know that how WhatsApp can be used to earn money. So guys stay continue reading this article till end to know more about it.
WhatsApp Cashback Offers?
WhatsApp is now preparing to give cashback to its users. If you also use WhatsApp, then you too can earn money. In fact, WhatsApp will start offering cashback rewards to attract more and more Indians to its peer-to-peer payments service. The company is testing similar incentives for merchant payments. Two sources said – this is because the company wants to compete with other rivals including Google.
100 Million Users Will Get The Facility
This new move by WhatsApp comes days after it received regulatory approval to more than double its payments offering to 100 million (100 million) users in India, its biggest with over half a billion users in total.
Cashback on Money Transfer
Sources said, (who have direct knowledge of the company’s plans) that WhatsApp will launch a cashback offer of up to Rs 33 for transfers made by users on its payments service before the end of May, which will allow the contact to access an account from within the Messenger app. Even if you send 1 rupee, you will get incentive. In what one source described as WhatsApp’s “user acquisition campaign”, the incentive is spread across three transactions, regardless of the amount being transferred, even if it is less than Re 1.
Users Can Switch to WhatsApp For Payment!
The amount of WhatsApp cashback may seem small, but Neil Shah, vice president of research at Counterpoint Research, said it could be a reason for users to switch. Shah said, “You will not leave money on the table as an Indian.” In a statement in response to a question from Reuters, WhatsApp said it is “running a campaign to offer our users a phased cashback incentive as a way to unlock the potential of payments on WhatsApp.”
Cashback on Toll Payment
Two sources said: WhatsApp is testing a program where it will offer cashback incentives for users who pay toll and utility and other bills directly from the app.
Meta Made a Big Investment in Jio
Sources said that WhatsApp also wants to test such incentives for those making mobile payments for Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator. Reliance is a partner of WhatsApp, whose parent Meta Platforms Inc. invested $5.7 billion (about Rs 43,640 crore) in the digital arm of the Indian firm in 2020. For now, WhatsApp did not comment on these plans, while Reliance did not respond to a request for comment. The cashback push comes after an internal study by WhatsApp in June 2021 to assess competition in India. “Winning from Behind on India Payments” study, seen by Reuters, says “incentives are among the top sign up reasons for our competing apps in India”.
WhatsApp also assessed that it needs to move beyond peer-to-peer payments as users use rival apps to make merchant and bill payments, which, the study said, make WhatsApp a “more attractive proposition ( users) to switch”. WhatsApp competes with Alphabet-owned Google Pay, Crowded Digital Group-backed Paytm and Walmart’s PhonePe in India’s congested digital payments market.
I hope guys this article help you lot to earn something from your payment. WhatsApp’s growth has been hampered as India has for months limited the number of users to whom it can offer its payments service, fearing that opening it up to all of its users will hamper the country’s financial infrastructure. The structure could be under pressure, Reuters has reported. Still if you have any kind of query or suggestion regarding this topic then feel free to drop a message in the comment box.
